When the load is big and the kids are small, sometimes it takes three....
These kids were just having fun, pushing the wheelbarrow up and down the sidewalk, so I just had to take a picture. When they saw my camera, they stopped to smile for me, so I took the obligatory "smile" shot and then pretended to ignore them until they went back to their playing. That's when I "snuck" this candid shot.
I know the viewpoint is a bit high, and that with children it is generally best to get down on their level, but in this situation I preferred to shoot from a little above in order to simplify the (very cluttered) background that was behind them. Also I think the high viewpoint makes them look smaller, which is the mood I was going for. |

Bonsoir,
Jolie scène familiale qui ressort bien en noir et blanc.
Bonne soirée.

Hello Erin,
hahah i liked this team so much!
I thought it was a high view point too but after i read your note, i agree with you.. This is better!
But there are so much bright areas on the photo (white cloths, blond hairs, their skin etc) but i know that you can do nothing..
Thanks for this nice shot,
Cihan Selcuk Eksi
ps1:I hope everything is okey with u in Romania
ps2:i liked their feet without shoes :)

Lovely shot, cute and funny team. A minus, if you don't mind; a thick black frame doesn't fit to these nice kids.(actually I don't like frames at all...but this is another story).
Thank you,
Fidel
