Sunflowers really do make great subjects for photography and this is no exception. Nice and sharp, good colour and an interesting and different crop.. I'd have tried to get all of the petals on the left in but still a good, vibrant image of summer.

dear Paras,
these yellow petals look waves of summer sun light.
someone sees this as rising sun, and other setting sun...
but in my feeling, the sun at noon is already and originally having only half,
lower half is actually reflection or illusion...
it is quite like our minds,
lower deep portion is invisible, already and originally hidden in dark space.

This photo is like a blast of bright warmth to the eye! You managed the strong sunlight so well with these bright yellow petals - no OE but lots of vibrant color and sharpness. Sharp details of the center part. Hard to believe there was no PP - looks great!

Hey Paras,

You just can't go wrong with a bright yellow sunflower against a clear, blue sky, can you?

I have just one real critique to make about this, though. I think you would have been better served to wait a little while longer (if you could) to get this image. The son seems to have blazing it's full midday brightness on this flower and it has the high contrast to prove it. Waiting until the evening would have gotten you not only better light on the flower, but possibly a bluer sky as well.

I absolutely love the bee on the flower. It really makes the image worthwhile.
