Continuing my posts of this day-trip to Heidelberg with this magnificent piece of carpentry displayed in one of the rooms of the German Pharmacy Museum that is housed in the Heidelberg Castle.
The crocodile hanging from the ceiling has probably the task of reminding us the weird sources of the medicines produced over the ages. When you look at it, you know it is better to stay healthy...

this is a wonderful wooden world!
I especially like this curved chest-desk with drawers and railings.
this air of the pharmacy reminds me the medieval magic room...
brown colors and the light from the arch window are beautiful.
