I cropped the branches off in order to focus on the main object and used the largest aperture to blur the BG. Just to remind you of the blue stuff here - it is called 'sky' and very rare these times.

Nice use of the shallow DOF and nice composition. Beautiful detail. Glad to hear your spring is nearing ... we're just slipping into autumn now!

Perhaps a little more space at the top of the frame, the bud almost touching the edge of the frame makes it a little claustrophobic to me.

die Knospen springen einen ja regelrecht an.
Eine sehr interessante Komposition, ich mag den verwaschenen Hintergrund sehr. Das Blau des Himmels kontrastiert die braunen Farben des Vordergrunds sehr gut.
Hast du einen Kratzer im Objektiv?! Oder was ist das weiße an der Spitze der unteren Knospe? Ein Haar? Ich kann es nicht wirklich ausmachen...
Die gesamte Perspektive in dieser Aufnahme ist der Hammer! Tolle Idee. Und eine interessante Anregung für einige Versuche meinerseits.
Ich wünsche dir eine tolle Woche, ich genieße meine Osterferien.
