[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Intentionally I just wanted to try my luck on this flower again. Then I discovered the hoverfly and started thinking how to catch both creatures. Well - it took more than this shot in order to have good parts of them in focus on a windiy day like today but I thought this one might be good enough for posting.
Took it a few minutes before, adjusted levels marginally and sharpened after crop and resize.
I also tried the flash but the lens barrel throws a shadow if you are so close and higher ISO settings steal plenty of detail.

Hallo Thomas,
das nenne ich mal Perspektive und Tiefenschärfe. Wahnsinn.
Der Verlauf der unscharfen Bildanteile leitet den Betrachter richtig durch das Bild.
Und die Details der Fliege sind sehr interessant. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass sie rotbraune Augen haben. Was man hier nicht alles lernen kann...
Die Iso-bedingte Körnung lässt die Fliege sehr deutlich hervortreten, was mir sehr gut gefällt.
Klasse getroffen ist auch der Übergang der gelben Stempel in den gelben Fliegenkörper.
Toll gesehen! Und all die anderen Aufnahmen waren es für diese hier wirklich wert.

Hi Thomas,
A nice macro adorned with sharp focusing on the point and fabulous lighting.
Fantastic colors and a nice composition.
A very difficult task, but you succeeded well to capture this eye to eye capture with the insect.
