[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a small part of a Porsche motor.
It's a small 908/03 Boxer motor with 8 zylinders from 1970.
Unfortunately it's not mine. :((
This motor belongs to the museum at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart where several Porsches are shown.
I was there with my eight year old nephew who's absolutely into fast cars. (Which boy at that age isn't? ;-))

Even though I'm a "girl" and not very much into cars, I have to admit that the pure amount of Porsches on that area impressed me a little bit.

And I have to declare my total lack of knowledge about motors. Are these the zylinders??? :-)
I just thought it's a nice picture...

PP: cropped, desaturated slightly, adjusted contrast and sharpness and added a frame.

I hope you like it,

Heike

hi heike.
first of all....
i know less than you about cars.
what i do know is that this is very nicely done, indeed.
the colours, the dof, the pov are spot on. i would be happy if that were one of mine.
ignorance of the cars mechanics has helped. sometimes knowing what something does can inhibit you from taking a different perspective of it as you have a pre concieved idea of what it should look like.(if this makes any sense to you, could you explain it to me because i'm lost?)
nice one.
Brian

Hi,
Being a bit of a car nut myself, I'd love to visit the museum.
This image is a great graphic, but lacks a bit of context. Maybe cropped a little too tight.

Lighting & compo very effective.

Hi Heike....
Very interesting picture.....
The dark side, the curves and the details are specials and differents...
Bravo j'aime bien,,,,!!!
Claude
