Light & shadow (the code of light)
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is taken on a sunny autumn day at Rosenstein Park in Stuttgart.
--
Stitched from 5 handheld shots with photomerge (reposition only).
The original after stitching is posted to the workshop.
To that I applied following postprocessing:
more contrast
- in rgb mode a duplicate layer
- to that applied the red channel to the composite with normal blending
- set the layer to luminosity mode
- flattened image
even more contrast and more color
- in lab mode added a curves adjustment layer with strongly exagerated a and b channels
- applied the l-channel to the layer mask to reduce curves effect
- reduced curves layer opacity (to taste)
sharpening
- in lab mode sharpened the l-channel with usm twice (first time 500/1/1, second time 100/1/1)
frame and save
- frame via layer style, bevel and emboss
- to rgb mode and save for web and devices

Hallo,
Es war eine gute Idee, dieses Schatten-Licht-Spiel als Strichcode zu zeigen. So koennen wir es auch assoziieren, interessantes Foto

Bonsoir Attila,
Pretty image. I like the composition, the curve road. As your title subject nice play with the light and the shadows. I love those trees, they always make great pictures, and nice shadows.
Alain

Hello Attila
The light and shadows are awesome here, as are the saturations of greens. Sharpness and detail are spot on although I am wondering if the comp would have been stronger in not cropping the path as the curve would have provided a prefect scenario for leading the eye into the image. Excellent play in light and shadows, well done
Regards
Jim
