[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Der Kleiber weist mit seinem Namen darauf hin, daß er gern die Höhleneingänge anderer Vögel verklebt, um sie so für sich in Anspruch zu nehmen. Er wird auch als Spechtmeise bezeichnet. Dieser Name beschreibt sowohl seine Lebensweise wie auch seine verwandtschaftlichen Beziehungen. Wir treffen ihn regelmäßig in größeren Bäumen auch in der Nähe unserer Häuser an. Während des ganzen Jahres können wir ihn bei uns finden. Schon zeitig im Frühjahr erklingt sein lauter Gesang der aus einer Aneinanderreihung einzelner Pfiffe besteht. Er ist dann nahezu ständig zu hören, und es entsteht der Eindruck, daß unsere Landschaft voller Kleiber ist. (In unserem Gesangsbeispiel können Sie zwischen den beiden Pfiffreihen im Hintergrund einen Gartenbaumläufer hören.) Im frühen Sommer verstummt er dann, und man sieht ihn nur noch sehr selten während der Jungenaufzucht. Er lebt von Insekten, Spinnen, Nüssen und Samen.

The Kleiber has with his name suggests that he liked the cave entrances of other birds glued to them for themselves to take advantage of them. He is also known as the Woodpecker Meise means. This name describes both his life and his relationships. We meet him regularly in the larger trees in the vicinity of our houses. Throughout the year we can find it in ourselves. Already early in the spring sounds of loud singing coming from a series of individual whistle there. He is then heard almost constantly, and it gives the impression that our countryside is full of Kleiber. (In our example, singing, you can choose between the two rows whistle in the background a garden tree runners hear.) In the early summer, he then disappears, and you see him only very rarely during the rearing of boys. He lives on insects, spiders, nuts and seeds.

A fine sharp picture of this "sticky bird" :-) No clue what bird it is, but you captured it well. Funny too it loks like a frozen chick. The DOF is quite well here. Nice posting janusz!
