[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Die ursprüngliche Burg, errichtet in der ersten Hälfte des 9. Jahrhunderts, ist im Jahr 1577 abgebrannt. Das heutige Schloss ist ein Achteckbau mit 4 Ecktürmen und Anbauten:

* Hauptbau: errichtet 1582-1585
* Schlosskapelle: im Kern spätgotisch, 1720 im Stil des Rokoko umgestaltet
* Wirtschaftsgebäude: 18. Jahrhundert
* Schlossallee (Eichen und Linden): 18. Jahrhundert

1831 wurde die Dichterin Franziska von Hoffnaaß auf Schloss Maxlrain geboren.

Hi Georg

I would use a much larger feather, to avoid the halo effect, when dodging the shadow areas of the trees. But well composed, with an attractive w shaped horizon line, broken by the red roof of the building in the centre. Tfs!
