Hello Heike,
I think you have done very well with this lily. without macro it is already excellent. Well done. I like its clarity with the great contrast to the stamens and petals as the cooling and pestel background. the framing too helps a lot, sometimes a very tight cropping and framing helps a lot depending on the subject shot. This one works out well.

Beautiful, delicate shot of the lily Heike. And remember... it isn't the camera that takes a good photo it is the photographer... however a really good camera can't hurt... :)
