[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at the huge C-Bit exhibition in Hanover which is held every year between March and April.

This year it was so cold even the ponds and fountains were frozen.

This is a beautiful weeping willow with it's branches half frozen from being dipped into the water. I ad never seen anything like that before and thought it made a interesting subject.

Hi Liz,

Welcome to TL,
nice portrait with goot POV, well done.

Haldian

I had to look twice to figure it out. This is really beautiful and amazing. In an essence, time is frozen. TFS.

this almost looks like candle making. you can see where the trees were 'dripping' themselves into the water. Very interesting. I have never seen anything like this either. I have seen vegetation next to a lake become frozen from water that is blown off a lake or things that have become covered in frozen fog but not a tree that dips itself.
Good capture on something interesting.
Your POV is quite good, your DOF a little off.
Keep shooting you have a good eye.
TFS
