Deinste is a village in the north of Germany.
I was there on a very sunny day in May 2008 and tried to capture some interesting images. I was not satisfied with the results so I tried some changes.
This shot I made with the sepia-mode of my camera. Afterwards I used an texture filter (in PhotoImpact) and put a relief filter over the whole image to create an effect that makes this image "older". It worked and I liked and saved it. Then I opened it with PhotoImpression to change the size and was astonished to see that the image looked different to the way it was displayed in the first programme. What soever... Although I'm again not completely convinced that this one is a good one I show it here to receive some comments about software that is perfect for post processing so that there is no need to use different programmes. Maybe you can suggest some? Thanks a lot. |

Hi Britta,
I like the atmosphere of this shot the path draws in the eye and the sepia makes it almost dream like.
Cheers
