Wadden Sea

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
After a heavy storm I travelled to Cuxhaven at the North Sea. It was still quite stormy but the winter storm (in German: Orkan) was over. It was cold and I was alone at the roomy beach.
I was lucky that tide was out. So I could walk on the seabed. As I was entering the area of the seabed I noticed the reflections of sunlight on the mudflat. I had to give it a try - and this it what came out.
You can see rests of water staying in tidal creeks and lots of ripples on the water's surface caused by the heavy wind. In the foreground there is some grass that belongs to the salt meadow that borders the beach.
PP: rotated the image at 1° to the right, desaturated it completely, added two borders, sharpened slightly, compressed and resized
Thanks for having a look and - if you like - leaving a critique, workshop or comment.

Sehr schoen. The FG reeds give context. The reflections are well captured and interesting. The B&W is a nice touch. Bravo. TFS. K2
Britta I love this picture..It's so surreal and calming, and I love the contrast, and the tall grass in the foreground gives it's lines variation. Its beautiful, almost looks like melted glass... :)
