[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This peacock stood in front of a closed door. The sign beside the bird says "Private function", the bird is obviously an unrequested guest. ;-)

Saw this bird at a sanctuary for birds in Walsrode, northern Germany. The sanctuary shows a huge variety of birds and is said to be the biggest of its kind worldwide. Many birds are bred there in order to keep up a high population and / or return them to the wild.

Hallo Britta,
lustiges Motiv - offensichtlich kann der Pfau nur indisch und versteht deshalb nicht, was da geschrieben ist. Deutsch ist ja aber auch eine komplizierte Sprache. Was mich hier anspringt sind die herrlichen Farben. Vom Pfau sowieso aber auch das kräftige Rot und Grün am rechten Bildrand machen einen schönen Eindruck. So - ich klicke jetzt den ganz dicken dunkelgrünen smily und dann auf Add.
Mal sehen, obs klappt.
Gruss aus dem windigen Süden - es donnert schon kräftig,

:):) This is a really funny capture of this sign, I guess this poor peacock became sad after reding that the place is closed for public... Sharp and bright capture, good timing and POV to make this funny effect. Excellent contribution to the Friday Theme, TFS!
