[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today is a warm day here in northern Germany. My young dog, aged 10 month, loves to be in the garden. But sometimes the sun is too much for her in her black fur. Because of that we bought her a little pool.
When we started to fill it with some water Olga, that's her name, started to jump around us, trying to play with the water hose.
We couldn't stop laughing. I walked back inside to get my camera. Back in the garden again I found Olga, proud as only a dog can be, because she finally had captured her "prey". That is the moment you can see on this image.
It is not one of the best images here on TL - far from it to be correct - but it shows how difficult it can be to capture a black dog. This is one of the better images of Olga. This time I have got some details of her body because she lay in full sunlight. Inside the house I never get good images because she seems to melt into the surrounding.
Anyway, I'm helplessly in love with this young lady and that is why I want to share this snapshot of her with you.

Hallo Britta, wem sagst Du das, schwarze Tiere zu fotografieren. Hatte früher ein schwarzes Pferd und einen schwarzen Hund. Damals hatte ich noch keine Digi. Da hat man einen ganzen Film verknipst, aber 1 Foto war dann doch noch sehenswert. Nun aber zu Deiner jungen Hündin. Du hast sie aber sehr gut ins Bild gesetzt. Ich sehe ihr Fell, ihr Auge und gerade noch so ihr Spielzeug. Und ihr Stummelschwänzchen ist auch noch zu erkennen.Oder ist das Schwänzchen etwas gebogen?Du kannst auf jeden Fall mit dieser Aufnahme sehr zufrieden sein, dank den Sonnenstrahlen.
Eine wirklich gelungene Aufnahme.Das grüne Gras ist ein guter Kontrast zum kleinen "Fellbeutelchen"

Hallo Britta,
was denkt sich der schwarze Hund wenn er bei Nacht über den Zebrastreifen läuft?.....
Ich muss dir völlig recht geben - 9 von 10 Aufnahmen sind entweder unter ocer überbelichtet, wenn man einen gr0ßen schwarzen Wuff knippst. Dies hier ist wirklich ein sehr detailreiches Bild und definitiv eine gute Aufnahme. Der hat Spaß, das sieht man. Hattest du nicht mal einen Briard?
