[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Two people dressed up for a sunny sunday afternoonwalk through the city. The lady with a red hat and matching boots and he man in grey. Photoshop helped me to erase all colors except the red.
To reach this effect you can work with layers, but if you're a beginner or just don't how to work with layers there is another way. I used the magicwand for this photo. Blow up the photo to 75% and selected every bit of red of -in this case the hat and the boots. Watch out for the shady part. Then reverse the selection so you have everything but the hat and boots. After that you can up the saturation to zero and there you are.

I love this BW-red color play and I use it myself from time to time. You captured nice daily life scene and those red details can tell you many interesting things in this photo.
