[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the most famous tourist attractions of Germany, the Cologne Cathedral. As I have been to Cologne for the first time in my life I couldn't resist to take a photo of it.

For taking this shot I had to use the small tripod of my flatmate. I mounted it on a small lamp at the beginning of the Hohenzollern Bridge, a bridge for trains and pedestrians. It was difficult to hold the tripod in balance. After several tries I had it in a position I could use for the shot although it was a bit lopsided. Therefore I had to rotate the image during pp. The rest was done easily: adjusted saturation slightly, added borders, resized.

Hallo Britta - OK,
ich hab auch schon lange davon geträumt dieses impossante Bauwerk mal bei Dunkelheit abzulichten. Du machst das in der blauen Stunde und aus einer recht seltenen Perspektive sehr gut.Die Farben sind kräftig und man erkennt viele Details. Die Schatten störeen gar nicht und geben dem ganzen Tiefe.
Der Rahmen ist vielleicht etwas zu mächtig für den filigranen Inhalt. Alles in allem ist das aber eine klasse Aufnahme. BIG smile.
