"You could only make good photographs on your way to work." -anonymous-

Kidding :-), It's just I happened to make this image (as some others I have done) on my way to work inside the Cologne cathedral, one of the finest pieces of architecture from the middle ages in Europe.

The two individuals in the photograph were lost in a conversation for some time, so I could take my time to frame them.

Hope you'll like it.

Hi Mervin,

Beautiful ambient lighting in the photo. They are totally oblivious to you taking their photo. Nice touch of blue on the right side of the composition.

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Hello Sand
A very very good capture, I loved the soft focus on beard man!
A very good use of light here.

Good job, i like it :)

Hi Mervin: Fantastic lighting. Great composition. The two men have an interesting look and a perfect pose. The man on the left is leaning towards the candles, the other man is looking at him, his left arm makes a slight curve which balances the curve of the back on the man on the left and creates a circle. The result shows "intimacy" or as you wrote in your note that they are "lost in conversation".

Suggestion: The blue window is attractive. It might be a bit distracting as well, as it takes the attention away from the men. I have done a WS, please take a look.

Daniel
