Ha Huub,

This is a dramatic scene. A very strong picture with good colours and interesting structures!
My feeling is that one step to the left and a litle more above the knot so that you see more tree gives a better effect. I don't know if you always must btry to end in a corner.

But, this is one for the big book!

Or 'Ropeman does the splits'. Funny how we all see different things in our pictures. My latest picture is called 'Cats eyes' and nobody seems to understand why (even my wife).
This is a great picture of a simple subject, that a hundred other people would have passed by.
Well spotted Huub!
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Good observation, I like the contrast between the wall and this rope, the details of the rope is very interesting.

So strange and mysterious! It looks like a monkey-momie dancing and turning and turning! That must be an artwork in a contemporary museum! Interesting cropping! Good visual effect! Michel

I was sure I had commented on this, well, I thought it need a bit more contrast to get it 'away' from the bg, did a WS, thanx, M, (*_*)

I see the hands, at least five gripping from thend of some very long, thin and hairy arms. Well spotted, H.
Hey - maybe you should have kept this one back for later? Then again, you'll have an even better one in three weeks.
I like the observation and I am far from concerned with minor technical photo details ... " - feel the width!"

Holding things together. Helping a young tree to grow in a cultivated society. We role nature, we expect that without our help there is no tree. We are taking some body’s place.
How do we think we are. This is what I read in your photo. For me it’s so gooooooooooooooooooood.
Ruud

Hallo Huub. Ja heel mooooi. Mijn favoriete onderwerp touw. Heel goed gezien en erg mooi weer gegeven. De rechtlijnige achtergrond is iets wat heel duidelijk bij jouw past. Dus twee stijlen ontmoeten elkaar. Nogmaals erg mooi.
Groet Frans

Hi! Huub,
I am very impressed by the city councils care of it's trees. This tree is going nowhere just upwards, looking at those stays. I can see how your mind is working and searching for hand related material. Of course there are many Hans in Germany and the Netherlands. We say here that "Many Hans make light work";))
Keep looking Huub!
Mike.

Really like hands that are playing that play of climbing one over other!

What attracts my attention here Huub, is the contrast between the strong converging lines in the foreground and perfect parrallel ones in the background. Artistically very appealing, and technically very challenging.
Nicely done ... Sam

wow this is a winner, such strength and textures, great photo , all of this beauty and grandeur I have missed
Christine.
