Crop is determined by the wallmeasurements; a sort of natural frame appears. The iron hedge brings a nice depth on a 'thirds position spot'.
Nothing of beauty in objects, but the arranging of the objects in the walls square brings something special, that I like.

Taken at the the North Duisburg Landscape Park
in Duisburg.
Ecology, recreation, leisure and culture – the North Duisburg Landscape Park is something special. At its heart stands the former Meiderich Ironworks which were closed down in 1985. Many attractions have now sprung up on the 200 hectare site. There is a free-climbing zone amongst the old bunkers. A water-filled gasometer is now an underwater diving centre. Visitors can climb to the top of the blast furnace or undertake a guided tour of the site. This unusual site has made a name for itself as a special venue for concerts, films, shows and theatre. At nights the ironworks are lit up by a spectacular light show designed by the British artist Jonathan Park.

It is really a nice place; you can take your dog with you, running and climbing around; totally free in behaviour.
I will go back at night for my first nocturnal work. It's about 100 km from my home in the Netherlands.

There are definite artwork elements here. The half dry shrubs infront add to the theme the wall symbolises. A dryness and decay. The beauty in this is not conventional but nevertheless it's there.

this place is amazing Huub... All those textures... nature vs wall... Bravo : )

Hi Huub,
Super apart. Chaos alom en daarom ook mooi.
Natuur probeert het weer terug te winnen van de mensen.
Denk dat het gaat lukken net als de druppel en de steen
Mooi werk
Ja en lekker opdreef

It's all about texture, atmosphere, environment. It's a bit of a 'pick 'n' mix' with a little bit of everything except beauty. Conventional beauty, that is.
There are one or three separate individual photographs in here and it would be fun to explore and to see what could result. No time myself but I can see the potential.
Rust, erosion, flaky paint are all 'manna from heaven' for us. I look forward to tonight.

A small coherent universe: even has its own sky, nature and building: all schematic, all destroy, all was, all is.
