[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Bernkastel is one of the towns situated near the Mosel river, in the heart of the wine region.

It is a very pleasant city to visit, though it is always a bit crowdy... you can find more info here. A recommended place to 'wine & dine' ;o).

Here you can see another picture taken in Bernkastel.

Tech talk

Scanned from a colour negative.

Corrected lens distortion with MS Digital Image Pro's 'Vertical distortion filter'.

Boosted saturation to 140 % - it was a rainy, cloudy day and colours were a bit flat.

Resized for TL in 3 steps, applied USM 85 %, 1, 1.

Oh yes, i love this kind of «for wine and dine» charming places Frank :) This kind of arquitecture can always make my soul float to a fairy tails mood in a magical ride through time..i´m already seing me, on one of those pubs, with a cup of wine in front of me, a nice warming fireplace inside, watching the crowd through the window...mmmm...cool :)

Another well known area... :) You like to do this stuff of buildings and busy places, dont you? I thought after Dingo, the buildings, etc., we would get a serie of portraits from you... ;). But this one is also ok!

Very nice and interesting place. Those old houses are looks fantastic. The only point is that the cloudy sky not provides you the proper light. Very nice photo!
