A wall, a tower, a door. This belongs to the fortress Ehrenbreitstein above the city of Koblenz. From up rhere you have a great view down on the so called "deutsches Eck - german corner" - the place where river Mosel flows into the river Rhine.
The fortress was never taken by force - so everything is in good shape - the massive walls open many impressive views and opportunities for capturing this type of architecture. |
