in order to the wishes of some members (called Britta usw. ..) i put this time the plant on another location-point, hope it will be so better..

today the second capture of this famous plant, called "Passionsblume"..

a nice evening to all members and visitors..

Hi Bernd,

Your macro of the Passionsblume is very sharp and colorful. I don’t remember ever seeing one of these flowers, they are very interesting and beautiful. I believe that because of the size of this flower it presents a challenge to capture properly in a photo. With flower macros it is preferable to isolate your main subject and keep it sharply in focus while blurring or creating a bokeh effect in the background. With a large flower like this, that probably means keeping too much of the background in focus as well. You could try taking the same shot with different apertures and choose the one that gives the best DOF, or place a dark green or black poster board behind it to capture only the flower, which I think would make this a really great photo. It’s very nice as it is, so please don’t be offended by my suggestion.

Hi Bernd,
das ist eine wirklich tolle Aufnahme der Passionsblume. die Farben sind sehr lebending, Kontrast und Tiefenschärfe sind ausgezeichnet. Und durch den fast seitlichen Blickwinkel erschließt sich die wunderschöne Blüte mit außergewöhnlichem Stempel ganz dem Betrachter. (Und keine störenden blauen Pötte im Hintergrund :) )
Sehr schön gemacht.

Hallo Bernd,

diese Aufnahme gefällt mir sehr viel besser als die andere! Details, Farben, Licht: alles arbeitet hier gut zusammen. Der Blickwinkel zeigt die Blüte aus einer sehr interessanten Position. Und das beste ist, dass es im Hintergrund keine blauen Töpfe zu sehen gibt. Alles ist stimmig und lenkt nicht von dem Hauptthema der Aufnahme ab.
WErdir spricht in seiner Kritik noch einige interessante Punkte an, aber wie schon gesagt, gefällt mir diese Aufnahme der Passionsblume richtig gut.
