[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,

I took this shot outside a jeweller's in Cochem, Germany.

I was attracted firstly, by the colourful, eye-catching ballooons, then the reflection of the buildings and umbrella.

I young lady was gazingly longingly into the window which added the perfect emotion to the shot.

I rushed to get out my camera but, sadly, she moved before I could take the shot. So, I added my own shopper. I placed her outside the frame to emphasise the fact that she was wishing and hoping but would be unable to get inside, unable to get what she was hoping for.

Hi Beverley

I would crop out the 3 spotlights above the balloons. Strong highlights usually attract attention away from the main subject. However the pp work at the bottom is superb & I like the woman shopper extending beyong the frame. The balloons add a nice splash of colour. Tfs!

Hello bev,
this is an unusual composition. I like it because of that. There is a hint of magic about it somehow.You have taken something ordinary ( ashop window display) and seen the potentail to make something out of it with your clever pp work.

Nice Re-composition, you did it well.This easily shows that a woman hoping a jewell can hide another one...No doubt you have noticed that the right balloon hangs the french flag, so that it is a french montgolfière.And I have one to show you in WS but people gazing to it ,will maybe surprise you.
