[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've posted captures of hawsers before and was actually unsure if I should post this one or not. I like this macro because of the structures shown but somehow I'm not satisfied totally with my pp. Besides, the focal point is a bit odd here.

I hope you can help me out and give me advice or maybe a workshop showing me how to improve this one.
I put the original photo in a workshop in case you want to try out something.

PP: I desaturated the picture and enhanced shadows and contrasts. Then I cropped the picture slightly.

Any hints and workshops are absolutely welcome.

Hi Heike.

I like this macro and PP you used to make this photo. Even thoe it looks like "simple" shot it is really enough to make a solid story in my mind. Nice work!
