These are fireworks from the celebrations of the anniversary for unification of Germany. In 2006 the center of the celebrations was in Kiel.
The most amazing thing about this picture is that I didn't use a tripod while taking it, and although the exposure was not short (one can see the motion of the flares), the things that were steady in the picture came out sharp.
Google Earth users: fly to 54.31585, 10.1335 and look towards E. I'm not sure about the exact point, but it's very close. |

Very good catch, nice firework, but I think if you're remove that ugly street light it's gonna be more beautiful. See the workshop I've made.
