[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the port in the city of Kiel.
I'm not sure about this, but I think I may have chosen a long exposure time in order to make the water look better, and so I had to use a tripod. The evidence may be the light reflecting from the windows of the building on the left of the image. I'm also not quite sure about the exact spot from which I took the picture. Nevertheless:

Hello Yaron,

This a great picture. Lots of good colours and the sky is superb. No doubt the result of using film. Digital is often very disappointing in this respect.

I also particularly like the light reflecting from the window at the left hand side. A bit of luck?

I have read your intro, and realise that you don’t like much PP work, another advantage of using film I suppose. With digital, using some amount seems unavoidable in order to get a decent picture on the screen.

I would be interested in knowing how you scan your shots to digitise them.

I have taken the liberty of doing a WS on this picture. I hope you like it.

Regards,

Peter.
