original was poor as the distance caused problems with the 3x optical zoom.
i converted to b/w then used curves to give a bit of depth.
used cloud effect.
re sized and adde frame.
just trying something new. hope you like it.
here is a little history on the castle......
'The conception of the palace was outlined by Ludwig II in a letter to Richard Wagner, dated May 13, 1868;
It is my intention to rebuild the old castle ruin at Hohenschwangau near the Pollat Gorge in the authentic style of the old German knights' castles... the location is the most beautiful one could find, holy and unapproachable, a worthy temple for the divine friend who has brought salvation and true blessing to the world'. |

Original architecture, very sophsiticated. Interesting b/w. Nice lightness. Good POV and capture. Good take.

Very intersting architecture and placement of the castle having the steep slope on the right. The compo is very good and the b&w conversion certainly adds mood to the image. Maybe it's a little too dark, or maybe that's just because my computer is calibrated differently. Like it, nevertheless.
