This shot was taken on a ferry between Glückstadt and Wischhafen, two small cities in northern Germany at the river Elbe. It shows hawsers that are used to tie up a ship to a bollard. Actually they were looped around two bollards on board of the ferry.
PP: adjusted contrast, brightness and saturation slightly, denoised, sharpened, added borders

Hi Britta,
interessantes Motiv. Der Rahmen passt sehr gut.
Allerdings wäre ich persönlich noch näher dran gegangen, um die Lücke ganz oben zu füllen.
Ich denke in SW würde das auch genial aussehen.

simple composition, works very well. good colours and good details on the fibres of the rope. a touch oe at the top, well done , a nice capture.

gute Idee und interessantes Motiv. Der Rahmen ist farblich gut abgestimmt und die gut Schärfe des Bildes lässt viele Details erkennen. Tolle Arbeit.
