[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This door caught my eyes while I was walking on a street in Trevemünde, an old seaside resort and Germany's largest ferry port at the Baltic Sea.
I liked especially how this door looked surrounded by bricks, like the majority of houses in this part of country are built. I hope you will like it too.

Hello Sorina
That door is a great inspiration for a striking shot. Very strong contrast. The details are interesting including the pattern of the bricks around the door and the dizzy effect of the lozenges in the door itself. That white metal post is a bit disturbing but I suppose you had to do with it.

I can see what attracted you to the door, Sorina, and I agree: it's very graphical and the colours are just great.
I don't understand why cou included the rainpipe (?) in the compo, though... it's overexposed and really distracts from the gate/door.
So I think a near-square photo would look better, that way you could include enough of the wall without the disturbing element...
