[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Brandenburg gate in Berlin was the symbol of the divided city and now its symbol of reunification of the Germany. Its so unbelievable Berlin Wall was behind it in the near past.

We were there at sunset time, i used a mini tripod placed on the ground and took the shot.
Made a little perspective correction on PS.
And adjusted layers and curves.

And im sure mine is a typical shot, not surprised to see there's similar one on wikipedia :)

I like a lot this kind of shots: beautiful monuments occuping the frame. And this image is really nice. Lights are very beautiful and soft and i also like the way you compsed the image.

Nice warm picture; caused by the internal 'plastic 'lights.
Nothing is left from the period of tanks and walls an nearby speeches by Kennedy and Reagan.
The place is converted to modern times with new buildings and destinations.
Nostalgy is sometimes a bad feeling.

Nice composition and light, I was there in summer and you in winter but we don't see really differences.
A great place full of History ! Did you visit the Dome of the Reichstag near there ?
