[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Was sitting in my office dreaming of traveling again with my camera when it dawned on me that I didn't need to wait to share a picture of Java with you ;-).

This is a shot of my coffee cup freshly filled by my trusty Senseo coffee brewer. It serves up a perfect cup of coffee each time with a wonderful layer of foamy Crema. Luckily I had just cleaned the cup for a change ;o)

Shot without flash and using desktop lamp. PP: Crop, contrast, saturation and clarify.

nice photo,
But at the left I can see the cup and at the right I can't see the cup.

Nice work.

Hey, we have the same very good coffee brewer ! :)

Nice detail of this hot drink that gives us all that we need for the newcoming day. Well rendered without flash. It shows us a very natural aspect of the cream (very nice cream made by the senseo ! :)

Great detail photo Eric.

I like the cream colors.

Well done

Very good shot of ... coffee! It looks so real I can almost smell it. You got some nice shadow and light reflects from the desk lamp, and the foam looks quite yummy. Well captured, Eric.

Keep zooming in - my first impression. Thoses bubbles reflect the light nicely. Good idea.

lol .. you are making me thirsty now eric;-) great looking coffee indeed;-) great tones and focus on the foam!

very well, eric.
i like a lot the way the cup is not completely framed, it gives the image a certain charm... and you know, its core is the coffee and the foam and... hummmm, the smell...
fantastic and you did a great job!
EDIT: 1. I saw this picture at 5am my time... I had to go and prepare one for me!
2. I do prefer brazilian coffee. It is still one of the best in the world. (as well as our music, of course ;))

It is good, very very good. I like your composition very much and the title! Something mundane.

I like the DOF: as if the viewer was preparing to have a sip...

Great cropping only showing part of the cup. Good use of your desk lamp as the lighting conditions have been captured well. I like the varied colours of browns in the texture and bubbles of the java.
Hope you enjoyed your coffee, I enjoyed looking at it. Very well done.

I like the froth in this. Not to mention that it makes me want a cup. Nice shot.
