[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another photo from the Chocolate Museum, the Imhoff-Stollwerck Museum, located in the cruise ship docking area along the Rhine at Cologne. This working chocolate factory is completely surrounded by plexiglass so that tourists can walk through the factory, watching the process of making chocolate bars for sale in the associated shop. This woman is so fascinated by the process that she has couched down to better see the bars being deposited on the moving belt on their way to the wrapping machine.

Kit, is this enough chocolate? I have more...

ISO 800, focal length 28.0 mm. The colors are subdued as this photo was taken through two sets of plexiglass walls, which have provided reflections here and there.

I've been there! I think you have really captured the moment here Lois. You can see the concentration on the face of the woman, and the reflections in the plexiglas means that you are not distracted too much by the tourists to the right. Nice capture,
Jako

Chocolate!!! Only just! You'd miss it if there wasn't a clue in the note! OK - I see chocolate. You are released from your obligations.
Again, a really high-quality job for the next company brochure and advertising campaign for robot-watching staff recruitment. High-Tech operation!
Now, bring on the dancing girls!

cool one, lois! :-)
i really like the expression on the girlīs
face, perfect timing.
and the chocolate looks good, too.
this reminds me, that itīs been a long
time since my last visit there,
guess you donīt visit the museums too much
when you live there.
the chocolate museum was by-the-way "taken over" by the Lindt chocolate company of switzerland just a couple days ago.
hans imhoff the owner of the Stollwerck
chocolate factory had sold everything to the
Barry Callebaut company in 2002 and they kept
the museum going until now.
take care & have a nice weekend,
thor.

Hi Lois, I like this manufacture photo and all the sturcture and the girl examining it.

Nice composition with this lonely person in the middle of an hi-tech environment. You got a great capture of someone very concentrate. I like it!
