[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As many of you probably know, Germany is totally caught up in the World Cup "Football Fever" right now. Everywhere you can see people running around in "Deutschland" shirts, especially on days like today when Germany has a game. I took this picture at a party where several families got together to watch Germany's big game.

This picture shows an interesting contrast between nations: the little American baby is wearing his baseball shirt, and two German kids are wearing their football shirts. Today a lot of American kids play soccer, more than when I was little, but still the sport is much more popular in Europe than it is in the United States.

Delightful shot and a super capture of difference in "team spirits"
I also like the way you have allowed the leaves and grass to become the frame -- a very different feel from the reality of the game as the men play it and yet in the spirit of the greensward they play on.
Best
