[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello on this "long" weekend.
In Germany this weekend is 1 hour longer - we are changing the time 1 hour into winter-season - nobody knows what that is good for - anyway, we had one hour longer to sleep this night ;-)

I was thinking a long time what I shall show for the Hunt: Old Bridge.
Than I had the idee - I hope you like it.

I guess everybody in Europe knows this old Bridge ;-)
It's a Bridge from the Greek-Latin Antiquity.
It's symobolising this era of European History on the backside of our 5 Euro Bank-Note.

Have a good start into the new week everybody, bye.

Hallo Sabine,
Eva

Hi Sabine,
Great idea for the hunt this 5 Euro banknote. You know that all Euro banknotes have bridges on the backside? This one is the classic Romanesque architecture. You made me think with your question. Nice posting so TFS!
Hans

Points later...

As promised...

Hi Sabine,
You are so creative. Good presentation here. Best wishes. Danilo

To tell the thru, Sabine, never noticed.! haha.
But you as a banker, made them yourself?
You know, the Smart guy, He made banknotes of 40 euro biljets. He told his friend, nobody can compare it with the originals..
To find out, it works, they went to a shop, bought something for 5 euro, payd with that 40 note, got back a biljet of 35 euro. lol
Have a nice day, dont tell it on the bank.
Jan

ein frischer 5er aus der bank? *g*
schönes makro, sabine, die bunten sterne sind mir noch nie so richtig aufgefallen.
da fällt mir doch glatt was dazu ein, was ich heute in bezug
auf die rechte der fotografen gelesen habe -
in großbritannien ist es nämlich verboten die geldscheine
zu photographieren (jedenfalls ohne vorherige genehmigung, denke ich mal).
das hier ist auch ganz interessant dazu.
naja, jedenfalls, tolle idee & viele grüße, thor.

Good idea has been presented which is eye catching. Commentary note is also useful. Thanks for sharing this image, well done Sabine.

No- it's new to me Sabine. Unfortunately I left before the Euro came in. !00% points for the Hunt - good one!
Janice

This, Sabine, looks like a roman (not romanesque, which would be hundreds of years later) aquaduct. Pont du Gard, Nimes, France, 1st century AD.
OK, Art History lesson well remembered.
Since this is only a partial of the note, I don't think it is illegal, as Thor suggested.
Cheers
Otto

Bonjour Sabine !

Stop the printers! I am awaiting the other side of the bank note with impatience (LOL!)
Interesting PP again. Creative and original.
Bravo!

Hi Wishnu

Marvellous pop aet Roman aquaduct. I like the soft, pastel, minimalist colours. Tfs!

Beautiful work!
The details are are very good.
It acts of the Bridge Of Gard, in the south-east of France. The river which runs is Gardon, excel place for the bathes of summer;)

Hi Sabine, This bridge is from nowhere. all bridges on euros are invented of the autors of bank note. It is no copy of any known bridge but your idea is excelent anf vrey originaly.
TFS.
Very similar aquaduc bridge is on mdy older photo here

Nood night and nice weekend.
Marjan

Buenos detalles.
Saludos, JL.

Hello Sabine. This is intreging. It took a while to realise it is an excellent close up of a bank note!. Good creativity. TFS. Murray.
