Gotta Love That Camera!

This was a bit of an experiment for me in PP. I loved this picture because of the expression on the baby's face, but it suffered from a distracting background. Following Nina's "how-to" instructions, I reduced the distractions and came up with this sepia version.
What do you think? Successful or not? I am open to suggestions on how to improve this photo, because I like it in some ways but in other ways I think it must be possible to improve it more.
I'm posting the original to the workshop in case anyone would like to compare. |
