David, John, Vandana and myself @ CeBIT 2006 ?
Photo taken last year at one of the biggest IT expos. Had a pleasure to be there myself. Had taken lots of photographs.
The photo you see here is actually a combination of two images joined together to create a nice panoramic view (click on it to enlarge).
===========================
David's Workshop: Vanishing Point and Warp Filter had inspired me to do something similar.
Thought of you guys :), used some of your photos from TL (hope you don't mind) to create a nice Photographers' Gallery.
Placed your portraits where images were projected by NEC video projectors (those can be seen on this photograph).
Task was pretty simple with the help of David's notes in his WS. Effects and outcome very nice and joyful. Tried some other photographs taken @ the CeBIT 2006, but had trouble finding one with many LCD panels to place more than two portraits. Then bumped into these two, and joined them together. Had to level one of them down, and all to be cropped.
Other than vanishing point effect, very little PP work was done, just a touch of contrast and brightness on one of them.
If not the gentlemen (they bring a bit of distraction/noise to the photo) in the middle could have used the 5th screen to place one more portrait. In the future I will think twice before taking shots (with a thought that I could do some interesting PP work on them - like here).
===========================
Have a look at my workshop. I've posted an image which I initially thought of when I looked at David's WS...but encountered some problems - read notes in my WS.
===========================
This photo is also to say thank you for all your support and advice, and some workshops ;-)
Thank you David for posting your WS with some useful how-to notes, which have helped me achieve this masterpiece :)
Have one more experiment to do, and that's the double frame merge, but unfortunately for now I have limited space in my flat - but will keep it in mind.
Thank you and enjoy it.

really great idea and a wonderful composition. the men in the center of the picture lets it live and makes it real. without them the picture would be sterile. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Hi Thomas
Boy oh boy you are an artist, and even see two of my friends! John and Vandana ( David a little)
Thomas, you are an artist. Welldone and a big wink!

thomas:
this is an outstanding work of masterpiece PP work combined with excellent mind that can pre-vision an image way before it is created. My 'Guru' used to say, photographic artwork in not producing good image, but an ability to see them (in your mind) before you produce", and that exactly what you did.
And I dont say it because you have mentioned my name, but because you have truly taken what you 'saw' and produced it with perfection!
Regards
