I can't remember when I have last seen a may beetle. Maybe 10 years ago? I don't know... :(
This little friend came for a visit at night while I was sitting at my PC, he was probably attracted by the light. He posed for me on my hand, right after that I let him go from our balcony. Haven't seen one till then again...

We used to have dozens of these in Australia. Thank God for flyscreen mesh! A superb macro of the beetle. Tfs!
