Iridaceae is a family of plants in Order Asparagales, taking its name from the Irises. It includes a number of other well known cultivated plants, such as the Freesia and the Crocus.
I stole this beauty from the garden of very kind neigbours. Because i only took the picture and not the flower they still say hello and smile at me ;-)

Hi Thomas,
Excellent colour, composition and sharpness. I like the mood in this shot. This is such a good photo that i couldn't resist doing a WS on this just to get a bright tone.
