Gorgeous double portrait of mother and child.
Not really high key, but it tends to that.
Just love both facial expressions and the grey tones are most wonderful.
Great clarity in the eyes.
Only thing I personaly would have changed is cropping a small part of top because in my opinion the darker spots of mom's hair top left is a little distracting.

Stunning effect in this beautiful B&W portrait. I like the treatment of the gray which gives a great luminosity and a beautiful unit of tones. The brightness adds small spots of very interesting light. How if the love between the mother and the child found its way by the pores of their skin! Yes, I like very much your experiment! Bravo! The high key treatment works so well for this image, pin sharp too.
A tighter crop at the top would help, other than that I can't fault it.

Hello Lili, I like this. Great detail of the beautiful eyes of both. Artistic layout. Not sure if I like the kinda bleached look but it does make the eyes & some features jump out. A wonderful superimposition of love and wonder .. There are some spots on the babies lip where it seems a tad over sharpened to me .. and this is such a beautiful image I would clone them out or some other trick .. this is a treasure .. I love your use of that well controlled whiteness .. WOW!

Hi Lili,
What a precious portrait again.
This mother must have been extremely pleased with the result.
Because I see a few minor details that I would rather see removed, I made you a WS.
It really is Artwork what you are showing here with those clear eyes and moist little babymouth. In a few month I will have the opportunity to pratice with pictures on a new grandchild - so I remember what I see here.
