excelent titlu pentru aceasta compozitie. Se pare ca portretele sunt noua ta pasiune, foarte buna alegere. Lumina cade minunat pe chipul baiatului iar expresia fetei, asa cum ai spus si tu, e cu totul speciala. Imi place mult.

Hi Liliana: The light in the portrait is harsh,but I dont think that takes too much away from the photo because you have caputured the eyes very clearly and sharply, and actually the light makes the face very interesting ...... it works for me anyway...... well done.......Roman:0)

hello liliana,

prefer when you put a black background as opposed to your previous portraits where the white accentuated the overexposition to my mind. For sure, the expression of this child is great..seem to face a big reflexion, like a dilemn...!

Nice crop. I like the composition and the expression of the child. The light looks a bit hot on the nose and the cheek. Not much detail there. It also looks slightly oversharpened.

Un portret foarte bine iluminat.
The BW treatment is very high quality with a lot of fine details except the compression artifacts. Be a bit more careful and set the JPEG compression options when you save your work.

Hi Liliana,
I like the placement of the model here.
The dark background 'pushes' the subject out very well.
I think it turned out quite good.
The sharpenning added some very fine grain with also makes it interesting.

I think you're right about the child's expression, Lili. Wonderful. Nice compo too with a great contrast between kid and backdrop. As for quality, his face is alright IMO. I just have the feeling you oversharpened which affected the hairs and the edge of the face...
Still, a very nice portrait.

Very nicely done Liliana - you are so right the expression hides any flaw in the lighting - I also like the way you have composed the picture by placing the boy in one half of the space and left the rest black. Shows your talent.

Hello Liliana - I, too, like the expression of this child. You've positioned the model well all the way to the left, where the light comes from. I like the light effects on the hair. The shady area is well managed, though the left half of the face is a bit OE. Well done and TFS! Cordelia :)))

Obviously, as you mention, the child's expression is great and deserves our attention. I like B/W here with a very good use of the light coming from the side and behind. It gives a very good spatial dimension and gives lot's of presence to the subjet. Well done.
