Congratulations Aunty Annelies. This is a lovely portrait of your baby Nephew Baastian.
Good job with cloning out the background as it is hardly noticeable. Some members like softening an image using Gaussian Blur, or Diffuse Glow. Or even both merged together. This is available in Photoshop. I have done a workshop but am out of todays workshop allowances. I used a filter called Ambience which you might like to try. It's a free download from www.optikvervelabs.com
What a beautiful baby. He looks like a little doll lying there asleep. I personally like you photo as it is. I see a couple of WS have been done and soft focusing explained.... TFS...:O)
He is a darling and I don't think you can better this picture. Oozing with tenderness and tranquility, it is of absolutely professional quality. Happy life to Bastiaan and congratulations.

I just visited a friend who had a new born child and your nephew looks so similar! They prolly came from the same place of pure innocence and joy.
