This shows a popular leisure area in the Rhein-Neckar region. On the eastern end of the Rhein valley soft hills up to 600 m, called 'Odenwald' offer plenty of outdoors activities. The picture is taken next to a hill called Eichelberg where walking trails and in winter nordic skiing is very popular. The Eichelberg is known as a meeting and ceremony place since the early middleages and has some historic sites to visit. The doggy with his favourite toy is a great breed called 'Bearded Colli'. She was a fantastic, joyfull and very intelligent and social lady and always with us. Appologies for the poor quality. This post is a scan from a very old print - not sure if I will ever find the negative again.

Hahahaaaaa, das ist ja putzig!
Schon der Blick und Eure langen Schatten wären toll gewesen - aber dieser süße Kerl mit der "Riesenfleischwurst", genial, gefällt mir sehr, Danke und tschüss

Hello Thomas,
Pleasant shadow play creates good dynamics!
The dog with the red ring is a most surprising element at first, by closer thought this is of course the perfect day to play throw&fetch..!
Greetings,

Hi Thomas,

That's a lovely image :)
Great lighting and shadows. And a dog... :)))
Very effective!

I would not exactly call this poor quality. It's a lovely picture and scene you are sharing. You must miss that charming lady very much.

Hi Thomas

I like the long fg shadows from the late afternoon lighting. Excellent colour & sharpness. Tfs!
