Yes - it is the same sportsman as on my recent Autumn Row post. When he came back from his exercise I was at a different location and used a smaller aperture.
So the depth of field was wider but the sun didn'T hit the man like in the previous post. Nevertheless more details are visible here. I always play with two wheels on my camera. One is the ISO wheel and the other one is a aperture wheel. I can shut the aperture manually before shooting and check the DOF quite precisely through the viewer. Here it was F 13. Thanks to sensor shift I am able to take handheld shots up to 1/15 second without handshake blurring but here I needed a shorter shutterspeed of 1/50 second because I was at 200 mm focal range and needed the moving boat in sharp condition. So I shifted ISO to 160. Hope you will like the result.

This is very eye catching; the colours, light and I especially like the effects of the lens flare. Typically Autumn. Very good composition.

Salut Thomas,
Je ne pourrais pas te donner mon avis avec toutes ces histoires d'ISO, j'y connais pas grand chose ;o)... moi et la technique...oupppsss
Joli ensemble, cette série me plait beaucoup.
Très bonne idée d'avoir focalisé sur cette branche, et ce jeu de lumière est superbe

Good photo Thomas, decisive moment would also suit. Composition, colour,BG blur all good.
On your note, it good to know other peoples thought processes when taking photos. I'll definitely utilize the DOF button more.

Smart composition and catch Thomas!

A close up view is as good as a large panoramic landscape. Here we have a perfect example. The light management is excellent, the leaves in the foreground are giving a magical mood to the scene.
Bravo!
Robert
