[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back to my city landscapes with this one. I had it on my harddisk a long time, but it was only when I added the 12% gaussian noise that it started to come alive. Go figure that. It was taken last summer in Hamburg. I was waiting at a red light in pouring rain and couldn't resist pointing the camera at this boy who tried to run from the rain when the light turned green. I quite like the red reflection in the wet street also.

Technically there isn't much to say. Small enhancements using automatic tools and of course the gaussian noise at the end.

I like the sign saying HAMBURGER. In Hamburg, of all places. You know the speech of JFK from Berlin ? He was lucky he didn't say that in Hamburg...
Anyway Per, I think this is the most captive in your series so far... The boy is a wonder, you captured him in full action... Great work. TFS.

Nice work choosing this one for the grain and blur. The grain shows off the color very well in the people, buildings and the reflection on the road.

I agree, the red reflection is striking. The action of the running boy, who seems to be focused on the near side of the road, adds interest. His face is also the only one that is clearly visible, which naturally attracts the eye to him.

As said before, the red colour is impressive on the composition...Especially, I like the expression of the boy on the foreground...I think that noise works well here...Thank you for sharing...

This is neat - everybody has got one foot up in the air. The little boy running across the street becomes the major attraction here. Well spotted, and good timing Per. A very nice candid shot of the neighbourhood on a rainy day.

great street shot. post-process is excellent.

This is definitely one of my favourites in the series Per! It's packed with action ;-)
The noise looks fantastic here too, it was definitely a great choice. Very well done.

Yeah you can see his expression on his face.... gotta get home!!! Sometimes the best photography is the one we do not plan but it just happens in front of you, like this. Great effect with the noise.

DAM

good use of shutter speed to capture motion blur. Nice colours as well.
The grain is sort of strange and I am not sure I like it but nice photo otherwise.
