This building is the work of the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, which he did not, however live to see its completion.
The building functions as a temporary home for the parents of seriously ill kids, while they are being treated in the neighbouring university clinic in Essen.
Situated in the middle of a Park and amidst greenery, the site looks pretty during summer. Some further shots will follow this in future. |

Great colourful picture! Nice and cheery.
It's an interesting building, looks more like beads than stone.
