Good morning peeps

Back at work today... yeuk.. still I have some fantastic memories from this weekend and 700 odd images to keep me going.

I took this shot specifically for the twisted theme its the edge of the village were we were staying, a lovely quiet town called Rodder with superb views and such warm friendly people.

Must get on now piles of paperwork to get through..

TTFN and will update forum with the new theme title later today.

Regards Smurfie

Hello Helen
Great shot for the theme.
Twisted barbed wires.
Rich colours and a very unique POV.
Congrats

Hi Helen

Great POV, love the twisted wire, and the beautiful BG

Tracey

Hi Helen,
This is SUBTLE, great idea, well done.
Here in NZ we only use barbed wire for the top strand.
I have never seen it used as a brace, seems a bit dangerous to me.
Cheers,
Pete.

hello Helen
how are you dear friend?
nice shot, good idea
Original and Natural shot!
good presentation

Hello Helen,

The first thing that hit me with your photograph was the excellent composition - great off-centre post with the wooden rail tempting our eyes into the rest of the shot. Then the vibrant colours of the grasses and the flowers are superb. Excellent light.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Beautiful shot Helen

I love the rich saturation and the detail. Textbook composition. Beautiful subject.

Of course, barbed wire is very twisted... and it hurts too.
Nice country scene Helen, and the fence post and frncing wires stand out well.
And it's in Germany too. Good find while on holiday - see the mind is always searching for photo opportunities.

Hello Helen,a pleasant rural shot with lovely colours and sharpness. The details of the wire and the fence look good against the green and beautiful countryside.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Excellent Helen. Delightful foreground colours with fine detail. Well composed and just enough sharpness. Now I have done a bit of fencing but I have never (or would want to)used barbed wire on strainers. TFS,
David

:) ltr..

It's lovely as a composition "an sich" Helen and indeed fitting for theme at the same time.

You had the most lovely weather chosen for this weekend, because now it is absolutely horrible (and tomorrow is Ad's birthday --well raincoats on then).

LOL -- so while I was exploring the UK, you were exp0loring my motherland !!
Love the Pov, Helen and the fence post is the perfect framing device.
The one and only thing *I* might have done differently would have been to increase the blue saturation to bring out the sky
Great job

Hi Helen

A good entry in the theme with the twisted barbed wire a likely candidate. Good colour & sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Smurfie,
A well seen view for the theme. Great sharp capture with a superb POV and DOF. The yellow flowers (buttercups?) are great . A fine contribution to the theme!
Hans

Great composition Helen, having in the foreground the wodden and barbed wire fence. I like the way the lines intersect giving a nice "twist" to the image! :) I also like the sharpness and colors.
Thank you for the theme, once again!

Diana
