[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this picture in my archives, taken at Germany where I spend my Christmas vacation. The "Fruit-theme" made it a nice moment for me to share this. I've been told these are Rowan berries.

The berries of European Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) can be made into a slightly bitter jelly which in Britain is traditionally eaten as an accompaniment to game, and into jams and other preserves, on their own, or with other fruits. The berries can also be a substitute for coffee beans, and have many uses in alcoholic beverages: to flavour liqueurs and cordials, to produce country wine, and to flavour ale.

Hoi Nel,
Een fris fruitig plaatje. Alltijd interessant om dat rode tegen het groene te zien. Mooi kleurcontrast. Toch nog wel een beetje bleekjes. Heb een WS gemaakt waarbij de kleuren iets opgefrist zijn. Niet te min een fijne inzending.

this berries look like Jambu Kertas one of the local fruit here.. im sure its not the same but the shape and colour are..
