In Dutch we call them Kokmeeuwen, Sorina - in autumn their "chocolate" heads will be all white, with a comma-shaped black spot behind their ears. Latin name: Larus ridibundus.
They're quite common, even in the inland. I like the way you captured the closest one, he has quite a bit to bite (or rather swallow) there ;o).
Beautiful DoF, I like seeing the blurred boats in the backdrop.

This made me smile Sorina. I love the yawn of the foreground seagull. The composition here is perfect with the line of boats across the horizon and the perfect positioning of my yawning friend. Love it.
