Wow, a stunning black and white scene you have captured here.

This is excellent! Shot at f4, so not much DOF, but it goes well with whats taking place here. The focus is maintained on the subject. The bycicle in the background is blurred and moving, which works well.

I love his expression too, deep in thought, distressed, yet calm. Beautiful.

I like the use of negative space to create excitement, in a composition where the main elements all are placed at the edges of the frame!
Contrasty B&W rendering works well with me, and image has a fine sense of depth...

Excellent street scene with lots of good elements. The cobblestones, walls and stairs are all shown at great angles with nice details and textures. The blurred cyclist in the background is a nice touch. Good natural expression and posture on the sitting man. A good choice to present in monochrome. Very nice image.
